America,
OPERATION: HEALTH CARE WAGON, is a project of
mammoth proportions. The Campaign for a Better Tomorrow has never
attempted and undertaking of this size in its history. I have
personally volunteered for much smaller venues, nothing ever larger
than a county effort.
I was not aware of the efforts of Remote Area
Medical until their debut on CBS's "60 Minutes" immediately I was drawn
to the idea of an alliance of sorts. I called e-mailed RAM, and
the next day, a Mr. Ron Brewer or RAM called me back. Ron and I
are very excited about the project, "I am tickled" says Mr. Brewer.
The project entails Finding Patients (MEDICAL, DENTAL, AND
VISION) finding Sponsors (for Motor Coaches, Buses) and Bringing New
Englanders to Tennessee for treatment, but we need help, lots of help.
CBT and RAM are trying to provide Medical, Dental,
Vision, and other specific Needs to the UNINSURED, UNDER-INSURED, or
the ones that fall between the cracks, due to Co-Payments, Premiums, or
Deductibles. Their is NO PREREQUISITE, so please if you need help
do not be ignorant. JUST ASK.
I hope to see alot of people be treated, but we need
alot of support. If you need help ask, if you can help.... Please
give.
If you have any questions, ask!
Best Wishes,
Jim M. Lackovich, Jr.
